Richardson Olmsted Complex tour
Design Intention for the tour app was to enhance the current ‘dial and listen’ audio tour by designing a simple, Intuitive Interface that facilitates access to tour content by using beacon technology.
Usability and accessibility of the app for sighted and visually impaired users was the key factor in redesigning the audio tour.
Design Process is as following: 1. Understand existing tour -> 2. Identify challenges for an inclusive experience -> 3. Create Information Architecture -> 4. Iterate Wireframes -> 5. Design interface using existing brand elements -> 6. Prototype -> 7. Provide technical team with required resources.
Richardson Olmsted Audio tour app was designed at The Center for Inclusive Design and Environmental Access under the supervision of Heamchand Subryan.
This project was completed in a duration of 3 weeks.
